2026 WLC FAQs

NOTICE REGARDING FWLE HEALTH, SAFETY & SECURITY POLICIES

HEALTH

Participants agree not to attend WLC or any of its meetings or events if they feel ill for any reason, are experiencing symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or illness in general, and/or believe their attendance may jeopardize the health of others. Participants further agree to cease participation at WLC immediately if symptoms of illness, including COVID-19, arise while they are on site.

By attending WLC participants acknowledge and assume the inherent risk of exposure to or infection by communicable pathogens, including the SARS-COV-2 virus that causes COVID-19, recognizing that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, disability, or death in the most extreme cases. Participants understand and acknowledge that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by communicable pathogens including the SARS-COV-2 virus at WLC may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of other participants, visitors, vendors, presenters, or third parties, or their families, colleagues, or others with whom they may have or had contact.

In addition to all other rules and regulations relating to attendance at WLC, participants agree to comply with all health and safety requirements, including COVID-related procedures, that may be implemented by FWLE and the conference center venue, including, but not limited to, mask-wearing and social distancing requirements and restrictions on certain activities that carry higher COVID-related risk, in order to protect as much as possible the health and safety of all WLC attendees.

WLC participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene in all circumstances, and those who are not members of the same household are encouraged to wear face coverings if they believe it necessary to reduce their personal risk of exposure to SARS-COV-2 or other infectious agents. However, FWLE cannot guarantee that WLC participants, speakers, volunteers or others in attendance at the program will not come into contact with pathogens that cause COVID-19 or other illnesses.

Failure to comply with all FWLE or venue health and safety requirements may result in denial or revocation of access to WLC and any of its meetings, or forfeiture of registration. Participants are responsible for reviewing WLC communications and materials for current health and safety requirements and updates.

SAFETY & SECURITY

FWLE is committed to promoting a safe and secure environment at its meetings and events and works in coordination with venue personnel to help safeguard all involved. Participants are urged to promptly report any concerning, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct to FWLE staff, volunteers, or security personnel so that appropriate action may be taken.

Participants understand and acknowledge that attendance and participation at 2026 WLC is entirely voluntary, and attendance at any meeting or event involves inherent risks, including risk of property damage or personal injury. By attending WLC and its meetings and events participants assume such inherent risks and full responsibility for their own safety and well-being at WLC.
